Fairy Photographs

I just wanted to share some of my favourite photographs I've taken on my travels around Northumberland and the surrounding areas. I do not claim to have any photos of actual fairies (fairies are far too clever for that) but these photos show some places that have a definite fairy feel about them.

What beautiful photos. I can sense faerie presence merely by looking at them!

I saw a fairy in Tennessee, several days running. On the fifth day I took friends with me to the spot and they saw them as well.

Perhaps you should try taking a photo of them max, that's if they don't mind of course!

Hiya Sarah! Unfortunately I must confess that although i've visited lots of places where fairies have been spotted in the past.. i've yet to see any fairies myself :( I'll keep looking though, and will of course post photographs if I manage to take any :)

Interesting that you said you photographed the places that had a 'Fairy feel' about them. What is it that charms us and makes these spots so special? It's like an undercurrent of some otherworldly presence, a kind of tangible fairy glamor. I'm happy you share your travels!

Hiya elfmother! Hope you're well! Some places definitely do have a fae feeling to them, sometimes it seems to be the lush mossy greenery and the way the light shines through fern leaves, and sometimes it's the time of day especially the gloaming makes everything look more etherial and magical, and I find that little trickling waterfalls and hidden pools often have a fae feel to them especially when the light falls in just the right way. These moments wouldnt look at all out of place in a faery tale, and I can't help but feel like something magical is just about to happen :) Love moments like that, especially if I get the chance to catch them in a photograph to share!
